Search Side-by-Side Evaluator – Germany

Overview

We are looking for tech-savvy individuals aged 18 or older to evaluate search engine results. You will compare two sets of results for the same search query and determine which provides the better experience based on the user’s intent.

This fully remote opportunity is ideal for students and individuals with flexible schedules who are interested in technology and regularly use search engines.

Responsibilities

• Compare search engine results side by side for the same query.
• Assess results for relevance, usefulness, and alignment with the user’s intent.
• Provide ratings and feedback according to the evaluation guidelines.
• Complete judgments carefully and consistently, following task instructions.

Qualifications

• Currently residing permanently in Germany.
• Native or fluent German speaker.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Access to a computer and a stable internet connection.
• Familiarity with search engines and how to use them.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to commit 10–15 hours per work cycle, once or twice a month.

Working Conditions and Compensation

• Work entirely from home with a flexible schedule.
• Payment is $0.65 USD per completed judgment . Each judgment is expected to take two minutes (120 seconds) or less . $19.50 USD per hour if you complete one judgment every two minutes. Actual earnings depend on completion speed and task availability.
• Hundreds of judgments may be available each month, with up to 4–5 hours of work per day when tasks are available .
• Workload depends on task availability and is not guaranteed.
• Continued access to tasks requires consistent, high-quality judgments that follow the task instructions.
• This is an independent contractor position .
