Seasonal Lunch/Dinner Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for bill processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Engage in guest relations to foster repeat business and enhance overall experience.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience is required, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
• Experience with Toast POS
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales performance.
• Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is essential.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
