Project Manager

Key responsibilities:

Capacity planning

• Build and maintain a weekly capacity plan matching confirmed shipments to secured trucks.
• Identify capacity gaps at least two weeks ahead and set sourcing priorities to close them.
• Escalate shortfalls to the CEO with options and tradeoffs, not just the problem.

Commercial and operational alignment

• Gate new sales commitments against confirmed truck capacity.
• Run a daily cross-functional review with sales, sourcing and coordination leads.
• Resolve conflicts between client commitments and delivery capability.

Coordination and 24/7 coverage

• Design and implement a sustainable 24/7 coverage model: shift rotation, on-call or outsourced night cover.
• Measure coordination workload per shipment to inform staffing decisions.
• Define escalation paths for delays, breakdowns and client issues.

Staffing and resourcing

• Recommend staged hiring tied to secured capacity, not forecast volume.
• Onboard temporary and new staff with clear procedures within their first week.

Performance and reporting

• Report weekly to the CEO on volume, capacity, service levels, cost and risks.
• Maintain a risk register with owners and mitigations.
• Deliver a post-season review with lessons and a recommended steady-state operating model.

RequirementsEssential

• Direct experience scaling operations through a peak season or rapid volume growth.
• Working knowledge of truck sourcing, carrier management and dispatch coordination.
• Proven ability to build capacity plans and staffing models from operational data.
• Experience running 24/7 or shift-based operations.
• Clear, concise reporting to senior leadership.

Preferred

• Experience in a high-growth or early-stage logistics business.
• Familiarity with transport management systems and capacity tracking tools.
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).

Fixed-term contract for peak season, with option to convert to permanent

Start date : Immediate

Availability : On call for escalations outside standard hours

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
