Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and handle cash register operations with integrity.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain visual merchandising standards to create an attractive store environment.
• Handle cash drawer balancing, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations with precision.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to support team members during busy periods.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are essential for success.
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
