Seasonal Tree Service Labourer/ Helper

Overview
Wiley's Tree Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Tree Service Labourer/ Helper, to assist our small crew through the remainder of the season.

This is a good opportunity for someone with previous tree work, landscaping, forestry or general outdoor labour experience looking for some casual work through the end of the year

Responsibilities

• Assist the tree crew with pruning, removals, clean up, and general tree work
• Drag and process branches, operate ground equipment, and keep the worksite clean
• Assist with ropes, rigging, and equipment as required
• Load and unload tools, equipment, branches
• Follow all workplace and job site safety procedures
• Work as part of a small, hardworking crew
• Perform general outdoor labour as needed

Experience

• Previous arborist, tree service, landscaping, forestry, construction, farming or outdoor labour experience is an asset
• Experience with chainsaws, chippers, rigging, or other tree-care equipment is an asset but not required
• Ability to work safely outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Able to lift, carry, drag, and move materials repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
• Valid driver's licence is an asset

We are looking for someone dependable who is comfortable getting their hands dirty, working hard, and being part of a small crew. This is a seasonal position for the remainder of the tree work season, with potential for additional work depending on business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Experience:

• arborist: 3 years (preferred)
