What they need
We are recruiting a Seat Foam Process Engineer for a leading automotive Tier 1 seating supplier in the Austin, TX area.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve automotive seat foam production processes
- Troubleshoot foam quality and process issues
- Optimize process parameters, cycle time, scrap, and production efficiency
- Support new product launches and production trials
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams
- Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions
Qualifications
- Experience with automotive seat foam / polyurethane foam manufacturing
- Experience in automotive Tier 1 manufacturing strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with foam molding and production processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Engineering degree or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred
