We’re looking for a passionate, hardworking Second Chef to join our kitchen team at The Queen Mary Pub & Kitchen!

We’re a newly rebranded, sporty pub serving up delicious breakfasts, lunches and pub classics — done right! We’re looking for someone who loves food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and is ready to help us deliver great food and service.

What we’re looking for

• Previous kitchen experience is essential.
• A passion for cooking and producing quality food.
• The ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Strong organisational skills and high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Someone confident supporting the Head Chef and helping run the kitchen in their absence.
• A willingness to contribute ideas and help maintain consistency and quality across our menu.

About the role

As Second Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, maintain high food standards and help deliver a great experience for every customer. You’ll need to be organised, dependable and ready to get stuck in during busy services.
