Second fix/Maintenance Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Second Fix/Maintenance Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with a focus on second fix work. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes in residential projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and finish cabinetry, doors, door frames, windows, and other interior structures.
• Install all types of sheeting, including plasterboard, fibre cement sheeting, eaves, FC sheet, etc.
• Flushing/wall repairs, cornice installation, etc,
• Installation of skirting boards, architraves, quad, etc.
• Conduct all types of second-fix carpentry repairs and maintenance on existing residential dwellings.
• Internal timber framing
• Installation of kitchen/linen cupboards
• General home maintenance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, specifically in second fix work.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Good physical condition and stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
• Police check & WWCC also required to work on-site. This can be organise during the hiring process.
