What they need
About Us
At Guppy’s Early Learning Centre, we believe in providing personalised service that suits the unique needs of the children and families we care for. Our programs strongly emphasise play-based learning while recognising the importance of developing emotional, social, and communicative skills early in life. We recognise that responsive, meaningful, and respectful interactions are the foundation of quality education. We believe our role as an early childhood provider is to nurture children’s passion for learning and give them the opportunity to explore the world around them.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable 2IC who wants to join our supportive team at our Caboolture centre. In this role, you will work within our team of qualified early learning professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future. We are looking for a dedicated, driven individual to fill this permanent part-time position which will involve training and educational leadership opportunities.
In this position, you will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the service in the absence of the Nominated Supervisor, including maintaining day-to-day accounts and administrative matters. In consultation with your Centre Director, you will also be responsible to prepare, implement, and evaluate a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.
This is a great position for someone who has a passion for programming and practice, as it offers many opportunities for professional growth, including paid programming time, study, training, and professional development. This position is ideal for a diploma-qualified educator who wants the training and support to progress in their career.
