SECOND SHIFT Production Supervisor

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate production activities on the second shift, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Lead and manage production teams, providing guidance, training, and support to meet daily goals.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, utilizing measuring instruments and technical drawings to ensure precision and quality.
• Enforce safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and heavy lifting equipment to facilitate assembly line tasks safely.
• Interpret production documents and technical specifications to ensure accurate assembly and mechanical work.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Requirements

• Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with forklifts, warehouse procedures, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting manufacturing documents.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly or maintenance tasks.
• Prior experience managing production or assembly teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
