We currently have a fixed term, Term 1 (2027) contract for a Midlle School Maths Teacher. Based at our Woollahra Campus, you will teach our Year 7 to 9 students on their critical educational journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and student learning needs.
• Differentiate instruction to support a range of abilities and maximise student achievement in Mathematics.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Prepare, administer and mark assessments, examinations and coursework.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that promotes learning and student wellbeing.
• Support students' academic, social and emotional development through effective pastoral care.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and achievement.
• Contribute to the wider school community through meetings, professional learning and co-curricular activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Experience teaching Secondary Mathematics with a strong understanding of the NESA curriculum.
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and support academic success.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high expectations.
• Proven ability to assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively.
• Skilled in differentiating learning to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Confident using educational technology and innovative teaching practices.
• Highly organised, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, adaptable and passionate about supporting student wellbeing.
