SECRETARY

DEPARTMENT: Auditor's Office

HIRING RANGE: $22.12-$24.58/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing the duties of the Auditor's secretary, recording and transcribing County Council meetings, and handling appropriations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Thorough knowledge of budgeting, transcribing and writing minutes, and typing

• Excellent organizational and communications skills and a sound knowledge of office procedures/practices

• Pre-employment background check
