Section Foreman: Electronics

The successful candidates will be responsible for leading the team of senior technicians and shift technicians. Improve equipment reliability by increasing the mean time between failure (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR). Provide permanent solutions to repetitive problems and critical problems on the manufacturing equipment. The section foremen will be managing & supervising plant calibrations, electrical and electronics related projects, substations, switchgear and transformer maintenance, plant UPS maintenance, plant radio communication systems, Factory Automation (Lot Assurance), diesel generators, plant energy management systems, also monitoring and attending to breakdowns, reading and modifying electrical circuit diagrams. The role will also cover AC & DC drive maintenance and replacement of faulty electronic components such as PLC, VFD, HMI, Transmitters and Indicators.

Requirements

• Minimum: Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred: Degree in electronics/Instrumentation/electrical engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years’ hands on experience with automation, electronics engineering & maintenance.
• Exposure in high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the tyre industry.
