Since November 2022, Rainbow announced the acquisition of 100% stake in Spanish Agrochemical Company Exclusivas Sarabia S.A. in cash. Since the acquisition of Exclusivas Sarabia, Rainbow is rapidly integrating its product system and marketing network, based on its clear strategic plan for the EU market.

Position： Efficacy section leader

Job description and tasks

• Preparation and coordination efficacy/selectivity study contractation program in EU.
• Preparation efficacy Data Gap Analysis and GAP devalopment for efficacy trials performance.
• Recommend good CRO for trial performance and, negotiate price.
• Propose and manage the approved budget for efficacy trials.
• Maintain cooperation with CRO across EU for plant protection products efficacy trials program.
• Coordinate protocols preparation, verification study plans and efficacy reports.
• Summarization and analysis trial results, propose sloution for abnormal results.
• Cooperation with Regulatory Team and Portfolio Managers on products registration included in the portfolio and new ideas.
• As Efficacy Section leader manage, support and trainee Team Members for efficient work. Mentoring and supervising junior experts.
• Set up and implement yearly/monthly plan and targets. Organize team members work to implement it, including the work arrangement and coordination of the efficacy section.
• Set up, update and implement procedures to the Team, and optimize according to best practice. Make sure the procedure is executed correctly and efficiently;
• Monitor changes in EU legislation and EPPO related to plant protection products efficacy requirements and implement relevant changes to the procedures.
• Provide scientific and senior advice in efficacy of plant protection products (section B3) and biostimulants.
• Monitor and follow up efficacy trial program to support timely projects development, fill project internal data base, prepare reports related to efficacy.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Agronomy or Crop Protection.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in efficacy study contractation or performance under GEP system, crop protection, agrochemicals or regulatory.
• GEP system knowledge and ARM software.
• Strong knowledge of plant protection products, active substances, formulations, crops, and pests/diseases/weeds.
• Understanding of European/zonal registration processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, commercial, project management, and communication skills.
• Fluent English and strong MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
