Section Manager – Finance (Budgeting)

Job Descriptions:

Lead and manage the Group’s budgeting and financial planning process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with RBH’s strategic objectives and financial discipline.
This role is responsible for preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and performance variance analyses for the Group and subsidiaries, providing insights and recommendations to management for effective decision-making.

Budget Planning and Consolidation
● Lead annual budget and quarterly forecast processes across all departments and subsidiaries.
● Review budget submissions for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with group assumptions.
● Consolidate group budgets and ensure alignment with Board-approved financial targets.

Performance Monitoring
● Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis between actual and budgeted results.
● Provide financial insights, identify trends, and recommend cost control measures.
● Coordinate with departments to ensure timely submission of budget revisions and updates.
● Support CFO and Head of Finance in preparing presentations for EXCOM and Board meetings.

Governance and Process Improvement
● Ensure compliance with financial policy and internal control procedures.
● Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance budgeting accuracy and efficiency.
● Provide financial guidance to business units to improve financial planning capability.

Leadership and Coordination
● Collaborate closely with Accounting, Treasury, and Financial Analysis teams for data integrity.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
● Minimum 3–5 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, or management reporting.
● Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.
● Proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of ERP or BI systems (SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
● Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive in problem-solving.
● Collaborative and capable of working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
