What they need
Join Our Team at Central Fire Station Bistro!
We’re looking for a new team member to join our small, close-knit front-of-house team:
If you have solid hospitality experience and enjoy working in a friendly, supportive environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Central Fire Station Bistro is a vibrant, evenings-only restaurant, open seven days a week (closed on public holidays). We pride ourselves on our strong team culture — everyone pitches in where needed, and we all work together to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
We’re looking for someone with a great personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Positive and memorable guest interactions are critical, so to succeed in this role you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly manner. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable and personable.
We value people who enjoy both bar tending and waiting, and who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves to help keep the restaurant sparkling — cleaning is a shared responsibility across the front-of-house team.
Experience is required, along with a great attitude and a genuine ‘can-do’ mentality. This is an opportunity not to be missed — we promise you’ll grow and learn faster here than in any other role you’ve had before.
We are a high-volume, fast-paced environment with plenty of room for development. On top of that, you’ll be part of a family-like team that is welcoming to all. If you’re hardworking, committed, a strong team player, driven, eager to learn and able to perform well under pressure, then we feel this is the perfect opportunity for you.
