Security Account Manager

Position summary

The Security Account Manager is an on-post, salaried manager who owns all staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day service delivery for an assigned client property and its secondary sites. This role works 40 hours per week on post and serves as the client's primary on-site contact.

Employment type: Full-time, salaried (exempt)

Compensation: Annual Salary $58,240.00

Schedule: 40 hours per week on post, plus after-hours on-call coverage and spot inspections as needed.

Key responsibilities

Staffing and scheduling

• Own all aspects of post staffing for the assigned account.
• Build and maintain schedules for multiple duty posts on the main property and at secondary sites.
• Answer and resolve after-hours calls for the account.
• Cover call-offs and no-shows personally when a replacement officer cannot be found.
• Account for any dark hours (uncovered time) at duty posts and report them to the Operations Manager.

Payroll and reporting

• Finalize officer hours worked and submit them to the Operations Manager for final approval every Friday by 11:00 a.m.
• Complete officer performance reviews and submit them to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure all officers comply with internal reporting requirements through the guard tracking application.

Client administration

• Manage the client badging process as needed, typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week.
• Maintain client satisfaction through direct, ongoing communication with client contacts.

Required qualifications

• Active PILB guard card.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Minimum 3 years of direct client interaction responsibilities.
• 3–5 years of direct team management experience.
• Proven management experience in client satisfaction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience with Google Workspace (Sheets and Docs) and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
• Reliable personal transportation that remains with you while on duty.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week as the on-post manager.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree.
• Military Experience NCO training
