A.B.A. Security & Electrical is looking for a motivated Security & Communications Apprentice to join our growing team in Albany.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians across a wide range of systems including CCTV, security alarms, access control, intercoms, communications cabling, networking and other electronic security systems.

About the Role

This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be out in the field, learning by doing and working on a variety of residential, commercial and larger project sites.

From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience with tools, cable installation, equipment installation, testing, fault finding and commissioning, while completing the training required to build a career in the security and communications industry.

Maybe you’ve built your own PC, played around with networking or home automation, worked on cars, electronics or machinery, or simply enjoy pulling things apart and understanding how they work. We’re interested in people who are naturally curious and technically minded.

Must-Haves

• Current driver’s licence
• Strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to commit to completing the apprenticeship
• Willingness to obtain any required licences, clearances and training

Previous trade or technical experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential. Attitude, reliability and genuine interest in the industry are more important to us.
