Role Description The Security and Events Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in Canvey Island. This position is responsible for planning and scheduling security personnel and event staff across multiple sites and events, ensuring appropriate coverage in line with client requirements and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include coordinating shifts, maintaining and updating rosters, communicating assignments to security teams, and adjusting schedules to accommodate event changes, staff availability, and operational priorities. The role involves close collaboration with operations managers, event coordinators, and site supervisors to anticipate staffing needs, manage last-minute changes, and support efficient deployment of resources. The Scheduler will also use scheduling software and internal systems, maintain accurate records, help ensure compliance with relevant policies and licensing requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement in workforce planning.

• Candidates should possess proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software, along with attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving and decision-making skills to manage last-minute changes, staffing gaps, and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess an understanding of security operations, event management, or workforce planning; prior experience in security, events, or facilities coordination is beneficial.
• Candidates should possess a customer-focused approach, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to varying event environments.
• Relevant qualifications in security, events management, or business administration are advantageous; SIA licensing or knowledge of UK security and safety regulations is a plus.
