About the role

We are seeking a Security and Safety Assistant (Entry Level) to join our team at our Santa Barbara, Iloilo branch. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in safeguarding our premises, assets, and the wellbeing of our employees and customers. As an entry-level position, this role offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in security and safety management within the banking sector. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment across all bank operations, working closely with management and security personnel to implement and uphold our security protocols and can travel anywhere in panay.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to bank premises, verifying identification of employees, customers and visitors
• Conduct routine security patrols throughout the building and surrounding areas during assigned shifts
• Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems
• Respond promptly to security alerts and incidents, documenting all occurrences in detail
• Assist in the safe transportation and storage of cash, valuables and confidential documents
• Maintain security equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance requirements
• Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with bank security policies
• Provide support during emergency situations and assist in executing emergency procedures
• Maintain detailed security logs and reports for management review

What we're looking for

• Excellent physical health and fitness to perform security duties
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively under pressure
• Clear communication skills and professional demeanour
• Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Basic knowledge of security procedures and health and safety practices
• Willingness to undergo background checks and security clearance procedures
• Customer service orientation and ability to interact professionally with all individuals
• Previous security or related experience is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates
