HrdWyr's core products are proprietary AISoCs, which are purpose-built for specific industries such as consumer electronics, electric vehicles (EVs), industrial systems, and data centers.

About the Role

HrdWyr is looking for a Security Architect to drive end-to-end security architecture for its next-generation AI-native SoCs across consumer, automotive, industrial, and data center applications. This is a hands-on, builder role spanning silicon-level security IP through firmware, ideal for someone who wants to shape the security foundation of a semiconductor product from the ground up in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You Will Do

1. Drive end-to-end security architecture for next-generation SoCs
2. Define requirements and implement solutions for key security functions in SoC - Root of Trust, Key Management, Crypto Accelerators
3. Define roadmap for emerging security solutions, including post-quantum cryptography (PQC) strategies
4. Drive secure boot and firmware development, hands-on
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure correct implementation of security features
6. Own standards and certification processes relevant to the product (e.g., FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, PSA Certified, ISO 21434)

What We're Looking For

1. 8-10 years of experience driving SoC, IP, and firmware security solutions
2. BE/BTech or higher in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Computational Mathematics (MS/PhD a plus, not mandatory)
3. Hands-on expertise in implementing cryptographic accelerators and SoC security standards
4. Hands-on experience implementing Trusted Execution Environments (e.g., ARM TrustZone) and Root of Trust
5. Working familiarity with ECC and emerging PQC strategies
6. Experience navigating standards and certification processes (FIPS, Common Criteria, PSA Certified, ISO 21434, or similar)
7. Deep understanding of system vulnerability analysis and hardware-based threat management
8. Knowledge of multi-processor SoC architecture
9. Background in semiconductor design or related services companies (mobile, automotive, data center/AI, or IoT chip domains)
10. Comfortable with startup pace, ambiguity, and open-ended problem-solving
