Security Assistant

The Security Assistant supports the Security Head and Supervisors in conducting branch security inspections, monitoring guard and store checker performance, identifying security risks, ensuring compliance with company standards, and providing necessary security training and support across branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular branch security inspections and monitor the performance and discipline of security guards and store checkers.
• Check CCTV, alarms, lighting, locks, emergency exits, and other physical security measures.
• Validate guard and store checker deployment, attendance, uniforms, licenses, and equipment.
• Identify and report security risks, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance.
• Conduct and assist in security training, orientation, and refresher training for security guards and store checkers.
• Ensure store checkers are properly trained on security procedures, loss prevention, inspection protocols, and company policies.
• Coordinate with Security Supervisors and security agencies regarding operational and manpower concerns.
• Monitor compliance with BFP, DOLE, SOSIA, and company security requirements.
• Check attendance records, logbooks, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
• Support the implementation of security and loss prevention policies and procedures at branch level.
• Prepare and submit inspection findings, training reports, roving schedules, and other security reports to the Security Head.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Security Management, or any related course.
• At least 1 year of experience in security operations, loss prevention, or a related field
• Experience in retail operations or branch security is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and other security equipment.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, safety regulations, loss prevention, and emergency response procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork, branch inspections, and security training.
