Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
• Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Monitor CCTV surveillance footage continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, following established emergency response procedures such as fire safety protocols or medical emergencies
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for review and follow-up
• Perform background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security policies
• Utilize conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation skills to handle disputes or disturbances professionally and calmly

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of physical security practices including CCTV operation, access control systems, and surveillance techniques
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; familiarity with AED operation is a plus
• Training in firearm handling, taser use, or heavy lifting demonstrates readiness for diverse security scenarios
• Proven ability to perform background checks and enforce compliance with security regulations
• Strong communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safety standards

Pay: $25.56 - $30.78 per hour
