Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, accidents, or disturbances with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as part of compliance with security protocols.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques effectively while maintaining professionalism during tense situations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control systems.
• Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and fire safety procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or emergency situations.
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity.
• Familiarity with firearm handling, taser use, and conflict management techniques preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
