Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security professional to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, access control, and emergency response. Your expertise in law enforcement procedures, conflict management, and physical security measures will ensure a safe and compliant environment for all stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure continuous site security.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including building interiors, perimeters, and restricted areas, utilizing manual handling techniques when necessary.
• Control access to facilities using access control systems, verifying identities and performing background checks on visitors or contractors.
• Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, breaches, or accidents with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform first aid and CPR when needed, including operation of AED devices, to assist injured individuals effectively.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with knowledge of security protocols.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, Taser use, firearm handling (if applicable), and emergency response procedures is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and compliance with security regulations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security duties such as patrolling large areas or handling equipment safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts calmly and efficiently under pressure in high-stress situations.
• Knowledge of fire safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and performing background checks as part of screening procedures.

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
