JOB DESCRIPTION – SECURITY GUARD

1. Job Objective

To ensure the safety and security of employees, guests, visitors, company property, and assets by maintaining effective security measures, monitoring entry and exit points, and ensuring compliance with company security procedures.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Entry and Exit Management: Monitor and control the entry and exit of employees, guests, vendors, and visitors.
• Guest Safety: Ensure the safety and security of guests and provide assistance whenever required.
• Property Protection: Safeguard company property, equipment, cash movement, and other valuable assets.
• Visitor Management: Maintain visitor records and verify the purpose of visits, as per company procedures.
• Vehicle Management: Monitor vehicle movement and assist with parking management to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, where applicable, and promptly report suspicious activities.
• Patrolling: Conduct regular security rounds of the restaurant premises, including entrances, exits, storage areas, and parking zones.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, fire incidents, accidents, and security threats, following established safety procedures.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report theft, misconduct, suspicious activities, safety hazards, or any unusual incidents to the Branch Manager.
• Employee Monitoring: Ensure employees follow security protocols, including authorized entry, exit, and movement of company materials.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the Branch Manager, HR team, maintenance team, and local authorities whenever required.
• Discipline and Grooming: Maintain proper uniform, personal hygiene, punctuality, alertness, and professional conduct at all times.
• Policy Compliance: Follow company rules, security guidelines, and applicable statutory requirements.

3. Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 10th standard qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in security services, hospitality, hotels, or restaurants is preferred.
• Basic communication skills in Kannada and/or other local languages; Hindi or English is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety, emergency response, and security procedures.
• Relevant security training or certification will be an added advantage.

• Compliance with security procedures and shift duties.
• Accurate maintenance of visitor and security registers.
• Timely reporting of incidents and suspicious activities.
• Prevention of unauthorized access and avoidable security lapses.
• Effective monitoring of premises and company assets.
• Adherence to attendance, punctuality, uniform, and grooming standards.
• Prompt response to emergencies and safety concerns.

Note: The employee may be assigned additional duties related to security and safety as per business requirements and management instructions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
