Security cum Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the hotel premises, including guest areas, staff quarters, and vehicle parking facilities to ensure the safety and security of all persons and property.
• Conduct regular security checks, maintain security logs, and report any suspicious activities or security breaches to management immediately
• Operate CCTV systems and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts or incidents
• Screen and manage access to the hotel, verifying the identity of visitors and ensuring compliance with security protocols
• Provide safe and professional driving services for hotel management, guests, and authorized personnel as required.
• Maintain the hotel vehicle in good working condition and ensure adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Manage hotel driveway and parking zones to ensure smooth traffic flow, guest vehicle assistance, and orderly parking during peak hours or events.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents with professionalism, providing first aid assistance if required and contacting emergency services when necessary.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for all guests.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding hotel operations, guest information, and security matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Class D and PSV driving license with a clean driving record or willingness to obtain the license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security or hotel security operations.
• Previous experience as a driver or chauffeur in a hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Strong familiarity with local routes and navigation around Kota Kinabalu and Putatan
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, emergency protocols, and fire safety regulations.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep and emergency roadside procedures.
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work shift patterns, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Melayu. Knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain this qualification.
