Responsibilities

• Manage access control systems to verify and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct thorough background checks and perform identity verification procedures
• Monitor CCTV surveillance footage continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Perform regular patrols of the premises to ensure physical security and identify potential hazards
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations using established protocols, including fire safety, first aid, AED operation, and emergency response procedures
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events or disturbances accurately and promptly
• Enforce security policies and regulations while de-escalating conflicts through conflict management and conflict de-escalation techniques

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is highly desirable
• Familiarity with access control systems and performing background checks
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally under pressure
• Knowledge of physical security practices including patrolling, incident report writing, and compliance with security regulations
• Ability to handle firearm handling responsibly if required by the role
• Demonstrated capacity for conflict management and conflict de-escalation techniques in high-stress situations
