Job summary

We are seeking a responsible and knowledgeable Security Education Teacher to educate students on personal safety, security awareness, responsible citizenship, and emergency preparedness.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Security Education lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Teach students about personal safety, security awareness, emergency response, and responsible citizenship.
• Educate students on how to identify and respond appropriately to potential risks.
• Promote awareness of safety procedures within and outside the school environment.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and examination materials.
• Assess students’ understanding and academic progress.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment.
• Participate in school safety programmes and activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Education, Security Studies, Criminology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Knowledge of security and safety principles.
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
• Responsible and professional approach to working with students.
• Ability to explain safety and security concepts in an age-appropriate manner.
• TRCN certification is an advantage.
