🚨 We’re Hiring: IT/OT Security Engineer & Incident Response Lead

Are you a hands-on cybersecurity engineer who understands that securing a manufacturing environment is very different from securing corporate IT?

The Talent Source is partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed leader in the protein and nutrition space to identify an experienced IT/OT Security Engineer & Incident Response Lead to help strengthen security across its corporate, cloud and manufacturing environments.

This is a highly visible opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on technically while also taking the lead when a security incident occurs .

You’ll serve as the internal security lead working alongside a 24×7 managed SOC, MSP, IT Infrastructure, OT Engineering, OEM vendors and business leadership —bringing the technical depth and judgment to determine what happens next when an issue is escalated.

What you’ll own:

• Lead business-hours Incident Response , coordinating containment, remediation and recovery across IT and OT environments

• Administer and optimize EDR and vulnerability management

• Strengthen IT/OT segmentation , firewall rules and plant security architecture

• Secure OEM/vendor remote access and jump-box environments

• Partner with OT Engineering around PLC, HMI, SCADA and engineering workstation security

• Support Microsoft 365 / Entra ID , Conditional Access, MFA and privileged access

• Help evaluate security architecture and technology as the organization continues to grow

• Translate cybersecurity risk effectively across technical teams, Plant Operations and executive leadership

We’d particularly like to meet candidates with experience in:

🔹 Manufacturing / industrial cybersecurity

🔹 OT network segmentation and secure remote access

🔹 PLC/HMI/SCADA environments and ISA/IEC 62443 fundamentals

🔹 Incident Response and technical incident leadership

🔹 EDR and vulnerability management

🔹 Microsoft cloud and identity security

🔹 Working effectively with managed SOC/MSP partners

The current environment includes CrowdStrike Falcon, Rapid7 InsightVM/InsightIDR, Check Point Harmony, Microsoft 365/Entra ID/Azure, Rockwell FactoryTalk Remote Access and eWON , although experience with comparable platforms is absolutely welcome. OT depth, Incident Response experience and sound technical judgment matter more than matching every tool.
