Security Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud environments using AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, and other relevant tools.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (PCI DSS compliance) to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
• Develop automated remediation plans for identified issues through collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide expert guidance on SIEM implementation, configuration, and optimization for effective incident response.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-12 years of experience in application development or related field with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of PHT concepts and ability to apply them effectively in real-world scenarios.
• Proficiency in Python programming language and familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience working with AWS Security services such as GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM etc., as well as knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements.
