Security Engineer

AI Security Engineer | Abu Dhabi | 12-Month Contract

We're looking for an experienced AI Security Engineer to support the security of emerging AI technologies within a complex enterprise environment in Abu Dhabi.

This is a hands-on role focused on securing AI/ML platforms, cloud infrastructure, applications, and sensitive data. You'll work alongside technical and cybersecurity teams to identify risks, strengthen security controls, and support the secure adoption of AI technologies.

What You'll Do

• Assess and strengthen security across AI/ML platforms and cloud environments.
• Identify and mitigate AI security risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, and LLM vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability testing.
• Review IAM, API security, encryption, and network security controls.
• Support data protection, security monitoring, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to remediate security findings.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, application security, or data security.
• Cloud Security: Strong hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.
• AI Security: Practical exposure to AI/ML platforms, LLM security risks, and AI threat modelling.
• Security Engineering: Experience with IAM, API security, encryption, and network security.
• Data Protection: Understanding of DLP, data governance, and security controls.
• Automation: Experience with Python, PowerShell, or CI/CD security automation.
• Certifications: AZ-500, SC-100, AI-102, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure AI services, secure RAG, or agentic AI.
• Familiarity with OWASP LLM security guidance and AI security frameworks.
• Experience securing enterprise or regulated environments.

• Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Duration: 12 months
• Working Arrangement: Client-site based
• Eligibility: UAE-based candidates only
