Security Engineer Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and deploy cybersecurity tools tailored to the Bank’s IT environment and regulatory requirements.
• Configure and maintain security solutions such intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms specific to banking operations.
• Monitor security tools continuously to detect and respond to threats targeting financial services.
• Integrate security tooling with the Bank’s existing infrastructure and banking applications for seamless protection.
• Implement technical security controls in accordance with the Bank’s policies and financial industry regulations.
• Collaborate with the Bank’s IT and application development teams to embed security controls into banking systems and digital platforms.
• Maintain documentation and change management records aligned with the Bank’s governance standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the Bank’s development, operations, and security teams to enable secure banking services.
• Promote automation and orchestration to enhance security operations efficiency within the Bank.
• Provide hardening guidance for the Bank’s IT team operating servers, endpoints, databases, and network devices following banking industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Assess baseline configurations across all banking platforms and systems.
• Work closely with the Bank’s infrastructure teams to maintain a robust security posture.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in the financial sector, in Cyber Engineering.
• Excellent understanding of Information security technologies including firewalls, proxies, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS, sandbox solutions, EDR, vulnerability scanners, DLP, data classification tools, PAM, IAM, DDOS mitigation systems and understanding of infrastructure and application security controls.
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (CBE Cybersecurity Framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc).
• Maintaining at least one active certificate of Information/Cybersecurity such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF.
