Your Task

As an Engineer, you will understand the latest developments in cloud and container technology. You will develop and enhance the platform in a customer-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend
• Work hardware-oriented at the console and get your hands "dirty"
• Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance
• Consistently automate with common automation frameworks
• Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner

Your Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer with extensive experience in cloud technologies, Linux systems, network security, and infrastructure automation to develop and enhance our cloud platform.

Must Have Skills

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
• 5-7 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• Very good knowledge of software defined networks
• Very good knowledge of routing
• Very good knowledge of firewalls
• Very good knowledge of IDS/IPS
• Very good knowledge of Anti-DDoS
• Very good knowledge of WAF
• Very good knowledge of physical networks
• Extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation
• Strong experience in Linux and network related services
• Strong experience in IT-Security
• High level of customer focus
• Knowledge of agile development processes
• Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Must be working in the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements

Nice to Have Skills

• OpenStack experience
• Programming experience in open source projects
