Security Escort

Rocky Mountain Protective Services (RMPS) is seeking professional and reliable Security Escorts to support security operations at a government facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Security Escort will be responsible for providing escort services to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors while helping maintain a safe and secure environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to follow established security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide security escort services for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Ensure escorted individuals follow applicable security requirements and procedures.
• Monitor assigned areas and maintain awareness of potential security concerns.
• Verify personnel and access authorization as required.
• Identify and report suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activity.
• Follow all site-specific security procedures, instructions, and post orders.
• Respond appropriately to security incidents and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor documentation.
• Conduct security checks or patrols as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and authorized personnel.
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence at all times.
• Protect sensitive and confidential information.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Must have separated from the military within the last year.
• Recent military experience strongly preferred.
• National Guard and Army Reserve candidates preferred.
• Previous military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred.
• Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Must be able to pass all required employment and site-specific screening.
