Security Escort

The Security Escort provides physical escort and monitoring of uncleared personnel within INSCOM Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). Security Escorts coordinate with Government security and access control personnel to verify the identity of escorted individuals, brief them on facility security and safety responsibilities and prohibited items, and remain with uncleared personnel for the duration of their work activities. Escorts also ensure classified material is removed from view and appropriately secured before uncleared personnel are allowed into work areas.

Security Escort support is generally performed during core hours of 0730–1630, Monday through Friday.

Required Skills

Be a U.S. Citizen

Be at least 21 years of age

Possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Have a minimum of 1 year of experience

Possess current CPR certification

Possess current AED certification

Be able to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping for up to 12 hours

Be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English

Be able to understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders/instructions, and training materials

Must be willing and able to undergo a CI polygraph

Positions in Georgia, Maryland, Texas, and Virginia
