Security Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct comprehensive patrols and inspections of all hotel areas, including guest floors, heart-of-house, and parking zones, to preemptively identify security risks.
• Systems Management: Operate and monitor technical security infrastructure, including CCTV networks, electronic access control, and fire alarm panels.
• Incident Response: Lead the immediate response to security breaches, medical emergencies, or guest disturbances in a professional, calm, and discreet manner.
• Authority Liaison: Act as a point of contact for local authorities and emergency services (PDRM/BOMBA) during official visits or emergencies.
• Staff Training: Assist in the implementation of security policies and provide essential safety guidance or fire-drill training to other hotel departments.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain detailed logs of security activities and prepare incident reports to ensure all documentation meets hotel and legal standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in security operations. Experience within the hospitality or service industry is highly preferred.
• Licensing & Mobility: Valid driving license (Class D / PSV license preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern security technology (CCTV systems/Access Control) and basic Microsoft Office for digital reporting.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Physical Readiness: Capacity to handle the active nature of hotel security operations, including standing and patrolling during assigned shifts.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays, to support hotel operations.
