Security Executive

Ensure all security, car park, visitor management and emergency contingency plans and procedures are in place and properly implemented.

Maintain and update all security documentation, record books and reports.

Conduct security audits as required to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g. Singapore Police Force, SCDF, Singapore Hotel Association on fire, safety and security matters.

Lead, guide and supervise Security Supervisor(s), Senior Security Officer(s) and Security Officer(s) in the executive of daily duties.

Oversee security patrols, special deployments, bag checks/screening, CCTV operations, and door ajar monitoring.

Ensure smooth operations at the Fire Command Centre, security checkpoints and associated equipment.

Oversee the proper management of spare keys and master guest key cards.

Handle staff misdemeanors and guest complaints professionally and in accordance with SOPs.

Investigate security-related incidents and submit incident reports to relevant authorities.

Refer visitors, contractors, vendors and suppliers to NEA as appropriate

Plan, prepare and manage the security duty roster to ensure optimal manpower coverage across all shifts.

Manage attendance, leave applications and manpower deployment in line with operational needs

Ensure outsourced Security Officer(s) comply with the hotel’s safety and security guidelines.

Prepare monthly security reports and submit them to management

Conduct SWOT and refresher training sessions for security officers.

Ensure all security staff attend compulsory hotel-sponsored WSQ or professional development training.

Support the induction of new employees by conducting Security Induction sessions.

Educate hotel staff (permanent and temporary) on security policies, awareness and procedures.

Liaise and coordinate with other departments to support their security needs.

Provide necessary security coverage and support for corporate events/functions.

Monitor contractors, suppliers and vendors working within hotel premises to ensure adherence to safety and security requirements.

Cooperate and respond promptly to queries or requests from Head Office key personnel.
