Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard the premises of a popular Pilsen bar. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff, patrons, and visitors alike. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for implementing comprehensive security measures, monitoring activities through surveillance systems, and responding swiftly to any incidents or emergencies. Your energetic presence and dedication will ensure the safety of everyone within the venue while upholding the highest standards of security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the bar premises, including entrances, exits, and surrounding areas, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
• Operate access control systems to monitor and regulate entry for staff and authorized visitors.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any disturbances, safety hazards, or security breaches for review and follow-up.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to peacefully resolve disputes among patrons or staff while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
• Respond effectively to emergencies by executing fire safety protocols, operating AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Taser if necessary, and providing first aid or CPR when required.
• Enforce compliance with all security regulations and venue policies to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or in situations requiring official intervention.
• Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when necessary to manage equipment or secure areas safely.

Experience

• Prior experience in security roles, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with incident report writing and performing background checks is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergency situations.
• Physical fitness suitable for patrolling duties involving heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
