Security Governance Specialist

Summary:

To establish, lead, and continuously improve the organization’s cybersecurity governance framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and international standards. This role owns information security policies, compliance programs, third-party security governance, awareness programs, and security assurance activities, and serves as a key advisor to management on cyber risk and control effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise cybersecurity governance framework, aligned with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and related standards.
• Define and maintain the information security policy hierarchy (policies, standards, procedures, guidelines).
• Oversee control design, readiness, and operating effectiveness in collaboration with IT technical teams.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity risk assessment methodology.
• Facilitate cyber risk assessments, exception handling, 3rd party security risk, and security risk acceptance processes.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external information security audits, as well as regulatory assessments.
• Monitor remediation plans and ongoing compliance of vendors and partners.
• Design and execute an enterprise cybersecurity awareness and training strategy.
• Develop role-based programs for employees, IT staff, executives, and outsourcing partners.
