Security Guard

Duties

• Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity or security breaches
• Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to detect potential security risks or safety hazards
• Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies in accordance with established protocols
• Document all security-related activities through detailed reports and logs
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and intervening when appropriate

Skills

• Strong knowledge of law enforcement procedures and security protocols
• Experience with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
• Familiarity with loss prevention methods and security best practices
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods in various environments

Pay: $17.00 per hour
