Duties

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems continuously to detect suspicious activity or breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas, to deter unauthorized access.
• Verify the identity of visitors, participants, and employees by checking credentials and issuing access badges as needed.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by administering first aid or CPR when necessary, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved.
• Enforce loss prevention policies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches to ensure thorough documentation.

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and alarm protocols is essential.
• Certification in Security Guard License, first aid and CPR is preferred to respond effectively during emergencies.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and law enforcement protocols enhances effectiveness in this role
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and respond to emergency situations quickly..

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
