Security Guard

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold the safety and security of our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Your keen eye for detail and quick response capabilities will help prevent incidents and maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points using advanced access control systems to ensure authorized entry
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking lots, and surrounding areas, to identify potential security threats
• Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior in real-time
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by executing established procedures such as fire drills, medical incidents, or security breaches
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns or occurrences during your shift
• Perform background checks on visitors or contractors when necessary to verify identity and legitimacy
• Conduct or assist in inspections of containers, trailers, and equipment using CTPAT checklists (e.g., 7-Point or 17-Point Inspection Checklists)

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
