Security Guard

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as medical emergencies or disturbances
• Conduct security checks of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the premises
• Enforce access control procedures and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of criminal activities or emergencies
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Skills:

• Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to provide basic medical assistance if needed
• Experience in surveillance techniques to identify suspicious behavior or activities
• Possess a valid security certificate or license, as required by state regulations
• Familiarity with CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) techniques is preferred
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively, including conflict management skills
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property
• Understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols
