About the role

As a Security Guard, you'll play an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patrons, staff and visitors across licensed venues throughout the Central Coast. You'll be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, responding professionally to incidents, and working closely with venue management to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Conduct regular patrols of the venue
• Monitor patron behaviour and identify potential risks
• De-escalate conflict using effective communication techniques
• Assist patrons and staff when required
• Enforce venue policies and licensing requirements
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Liaise with venue management and emergency services when required
• Complete electronic incident reports and relevant documentation

About you

• Current NSW Class 1A Security Licence
• Current RSA Competency Card
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Reliable mobile phone with internet access
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Professional presentation and strong work ethic
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Reliable transport
