Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
• Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining detailed logs.
• Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor security cameras and identify potential threats or incidents in real-time.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
• Write clear, detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns or incidents for future reference and investigations.
• Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of the screening process to ensure safety compliance.
• Operate emergency response tools such as AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Taser, and firearms where legally permitted and trained.
• Enforce security regulations by conducting thorough inspections, patrolling assigned areas, and managing conflict de-escalation when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and manual handling procedures.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and fire safety are preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security tasks while maintaining safety standards.
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with access control systems and performing background checks is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures, law enforcement protocols, and compliance with security regulations is essential.

Pay: $23.55 - $28.36 per hour
