Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through physical security measures, patrolling designated areas, and effectively managing conflict situations. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and adherence to security regulations. The Security Guard will also be tasked with documenting incidents accurately through report writing to support ongoing safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
• Maintain physical security by monitoring access points, inspecting security equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
• De-escalate conflicts or disturbances using effective communication and conflict resolution techniques
• Enforce security regulations and policies to prevent unauthorized access or activities
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
• Write detailed incident reports to document any security-related events or concerns for record-keeping and follow-up purposes

Requirements

• Proven experience in security or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as patrolling and standing for extended periods
• Strong conflict de-escalation skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
• Knowledge of security procedures, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
• Good written communication skills for incident reporting
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy with a strong sense of integrity
