Security Guard

We are looking for a responsible, alert, and disciplined Security Guard to maintain the safety and security of our commercial property at Patrapada Commercial, Bhubaneswar.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring the premises, controlling entry and exit, preventing unauthorized access, maintaining security protocols, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the commercial property, including entrances, exits, parking areas, and common areas.
• Control and verify the entry and exit of visitors, staff, vendors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Maintain visitor and vehicle entry/exit registers accurately.
• Conduct regular rounds/patrols of the premises to identify any security or safety concerns.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activity immediately.
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or damage to property.
• Ensure that security and access-control procedures are followed by visitors and staff.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, disturbances, or safety issues.
• Coordinate with property management and, when required, local police, fire services, or emergency personnel.
• Maintain daily security logs and report incidents to the supervisor/property manager.
• Ensure doors, gates, common areas, and other designated areas are properly secured as required.
• Assist with crowd/traffic management during busy periods or special events.
• Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the property manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a commercial building, office, shopping complex, residential complex, or similar property.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing/walking for extended periods.
• Honest, punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or difficult situations.
• Basic ability to read and write in Odia/Hindi
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, fire safety, and emergency response will be an advantage.
• Valid security guard training/certification, where applicable, is preferred.

Working Conditions

• Full-time security duty at Patrapada Commercial, Bhubaneswar.
• Shift duties may be required, including day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
