Security Guard

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, loss prevention, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Must have Vehicle don't apply if you don't drive or you don't have a vehicle
• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment
• Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information as needed
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Conduct loss prevention measures by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage

Skills

• Must have Vehicle
• Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is advantageous
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance technology is preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00-$17.96 per hour
