RIVERSIDE, CA Security Guard - Bars/Clubs/Events/Other

Big Will's Security Service is a private security company. We are currently looking to hire properly licensed, security professionals on a part-time, full-time, and/or on-call basis.

For the position of Bars/Clubs/Events, the security guard will be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property at a bar, nightclub, or event. Monitor patrons and premises, control access, help prevent disturbances, and respond appropriately to security incidents while providing professional customer service.

All applicants must be able to perform following duties:

• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for safety and security concerns.
• Check IDs and verify that guests meet age and venue-entry requirements.
• Screen patrons and enforce the establishment's entry and security policies.
• Monitor guest behavior and identify potential conflicts or disturbances.
• De-escalate confrontations and address disruptive behavior professionally.
• Respond to fights, medical emergencies, theft, intoxicated patrons, and other incidents.
• Remove or escort disruptive individuals from the premises when authorized.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, violence, and other misconduct.
• Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the property.
• Communicate with bartenders, managers, staff, and other security personnel regarding incidents or concerns.
• Contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Complete incident reports and document significant events accurately.
• Assist with crowd control during busy periods and special events.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with guests.
• Write detailed incident reports of incidents that occurred while on duty.
• Other duties as assigned by clients and management personnel

All guards must meet the following requirements:

-Must have valid CA guard card.

-Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

-Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work on time.

-Must have reliable telephone communication, including the ability to send and receive text messages.

-Must be well-groomed and have professional appearance.

-Must be able to perform required duties without direct supervision.

-Must be available to start immediately.

-Must be able to start training, as soon as possible

-Must be able to work various/flexible days and hours (including weekends and holidays)

-Must be able to write daily activity reports on an hourly basis

-Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language

-Must be able to interact with the general public in a professional manner

-Must be able to handle incidents/situations efficiently and effectively.

A face-to-face pre-employment interview will be required.

Responsibilities and Duties

The responsibilities of this position are to observe and report.

The physical environment: Requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. We will request all employees to work overtime, even weekends for special program events.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Security Guard: 1 year

Required license or certification:

• Guard Card
• 40 hours of security training

Pay: $17.50 - $18.75 per hour
